Minority Report was just the beginning.
It is difficult for the leyman to conceptualize the massive changes that are going to come about in the next ten to twenty years. It's difficult for the trained tech geeks to get it. We are surrounded by the sights, smells textures and boiling imagination that is the international web as it finally begins to shed its first skin and become more than a toddling infant. Really its to bad so many want to own it, because like in kindergarten, it is sharing that will get you everything.
The innovations I have seen in the last few years have made watching Minority Report look like child's play. Many of these innovations were spawned from the wealth of knowledge of the creative
multi-concious. The massive interactivesharing community(s) that exist 24 hours a day online.
Some would fear what is to come. And probably rightly so. But so much of the innovation both in hard and soft ware gives me the feeling that I will lift up from the ground, from my laptop, from my mundane world and soar into the vibrant future.
